you like buffalo, do ya?

older(read:wiser)sibling of mine:two weeks in europe is not worth two years of credit card debt.
me:i can't here you. ::places index fingers in ear::
sibling:i'm serious.
me:but i want an oompa loompa now...

so, i've been planning to run away on august 3rd for about two weeks now. and,no, i really don't know where to. have i mentioned that i need a sidekick for this excursion? preferably male, though i have never been one to discriminate based on gender...

anyway, my plan was to steal my father's bronco, load up some gear, and hit the road. again, no idea where to. this is a vacation for the mother road, penny-less style.

and i have no idea why everyone gives me blank stares like it doesn't sound like fun to run away without a destination. i really can't think of much that would be more fun.

except for the idea behind this (condensed) conversation:

kellog:why not meet me in germany.
analog:because i don't have 2 grand.
kellog:you have 2 grand in plastic.
analog:oh.hmmmmmmm...

so, now i am torn. i so wanted to run away, not so much to europe. but this is the vacation of a life time and i can't find anyone to come with me on the mother road.

more of this later...need to be productive.

Lyn and I have a friend we met from Live Journal, Christy that's currently on a cross-country road trip. Oddly enough, out of all the touristy places and gorgeous sites she could have dwelled on, up until she rendezvoused with the Quebecois venture capitalist she met on top of a mountain somewhere in the Southwest (i'm NOT making this up!), our little Hamlet is the one she spent the most time in. Almost a week, I think. Zia's THAT cute. So anyways, this could be your life...
